The highly rated goalkeeper joined the Rovers in the summer of 2026.George started as a youth player with Concord Rangers. In the youth side, he won a few awards and trophies before joining Hullbridge Sports on dual registration in search of regular football. He quickly established himself as a superb shot stopper at just 18, pulling off some great saves in crucial moments. He would be part of the side that won the Essex Senior League in 2019.
George would then join Isthmian League side Witham Town on a permanent basis. This was followed by a short spell with Stansted before joining Basildon United in 2020. After one season with the Essex based side, he joined Cheshunt where his performances caught made headlines in the Herts Senior Cup final & during FA Trophy run, including being the penalty save hero in the shoot out v Bishop’s Stortford.
George then had a short spell at Tilbury before rejoining Basildon United in 2022. He would spend two years with the Bees, earning individual awards for his performances before joining Brightlinsea Regent. After one season, he joined Grays Athletic for a season before arriving at Burroughs Parks.
A very commanding goalkeeper who brings reliability and consistency to our defence. His ability between the sticks brings great confidence and calmness to the whole team.
