Biography

The versatile defender joined the Rovers in the summer of 2026.

Billy is a very familiar face in Essex for his consistent performances. He started out with Tilbury before joining Redbridge in 2017. He went out on loan to several clubs during his first season, including Great Wakering Rovers. In the 2018/19 season, he was promoted to the first team. After two seasons, he spent a season at Heybridge Swifts before joining Isthmian North side Witham Town. The defender played over fifty games across two seasons before joining Hashtag United. During his one season with the Tag’s, he was part of the side that won the Isthmian Division One North League in 2023.

He then had spells with Maldon & Tiptree, Hullbridge Sports and Basildon United before rejoining Hullbridge for a season in 2025.

Billy is a great addition to the team with higher league experience having played over 200 games in step 5 and 4, and can play in a variety of positions.
