The defender joined the Rovers in January 2026.Ellis played college football in the US and featured for St Louis Lions in the USL League Two.
He returned to England and joined East Thurrock United before having spells with Basildon United, Heybridge Swifts, Royston Town and Harlow Town.
Ahead of the 2022/23 season, he joined Witham Town but switched to Basildon United halfway through the campaign.
He then joined Margate in December 2023 for a short spell before joining Romford in 2024. He then had a short spell with Heybridge Swifts again before joining the Rovers.
A hard working defender who can also play in midfield who brings a wealth of experience.
