As a club with a proud history and a tradition of success both on and off the pitch, we believe the time is right to take this exciting next step. Women’s football continues to go from strength to strength, enjoying unprecedented growth in participation, support, and visibility across the game.

With increasing numbers of girls playing football locally and more clubs developing female pathways, we feel it is important that Wakering Rovers provides opportunities for women and girls to represent a club that has been at the heart of the local community for many years.

The club is fortunate to have excellent facilities to support this development, including quality playing and training pitches, changing rooms, showers, physio facilities, a clubhouse, winter training facilities, and a dedicated home venue for Sunday football.

To help make this vision a reality, we are now seeking players, sponsors, and volunteers who would like to be part of establishing and growing the women’s section at Wakering Rovers. Whether you are interested in playing, coaching, supporting behind the scenes, or helping through sponsorship, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Trials will be taking place this summer, with further details to be announced in the coming weeks.
