Great Wakering Rovers 100+ Club


What is the 100+ Club ?

The idea is super simple. The 100 Club is a monthly draw run directly by Great Wakering Rovers FC where every penny raised is put right back into the club.

The money raised is ring-fenced and separated from day-to-day expenses and is specifically used to help make things better for the fans and to invest in the facilities and playing squad.


How It Works

How much does it cost?
It costs £5 per month, per entry. Once paid, you will be assigned a number between 1 and 100 (or higher, should we fill all 100 numbers). More entries = more chances to win!

The Prizes

If we sell all 100 tickets at £5 each, the total profit will be £500. If we sell more, that profit will be even higher. That pot will be split 50/50, with £250 going to the club and £250 going into the monthly prize pot.

The prizes will be as follows:

  • 1st Prize (60%): £150
  • 2nd Prize (30%): £75
  • 3rd Prize (10%): £25

Note: The prize pot will be split depending on how many tickets are bought. For every draw, the Club and its members will split the total amount evenly.

You can join in one of two ways. You can either pay the annual £60 fee via cash/bank transfer or set up a monthly standing order. To do so, simply enter your details in the form below.

Great Wakering Rovers FC will cover the costs of the lottery, so every pound will be made available for the club and the member prize pot.

Great Wakering Rovers 100+ Club – Official Rules


1. Name and Objective

The Scheme: The draw operates under the title Great Wakering Rovers 100+ Club (referred to herein as "the Lottery"), irrespective of total ticket sales.

Purpose: The sole objective of the Lottery is to generate fundraising revenue for the exclusive benefit of Great Wakering Rovers FC ("the Club").

Oversight: Administration of the Lottery is managed by a designated Promoter, who is appointed directly by the Club’s Management Committee.

2. Schedule and Prizes

Prize Structure: Monthly payouts are fixed at £150 for 1st place, £75 for 2nd place, and £25 for 3rd place.

Timeline: The Lottery commences continuous operation on 1st July 2026, with the inaugural prize draw taking place on 1st August 2026.

3. Eligibility and Entry

Age Restriction: Participation is restricted to individuals aged 16 and over.

Entry Terms: Buying a ticket establishes membership in the Lottery. There is no limit on the number of entries an individual may hold.

Ticket Allocation: Overall entry numbers are unrestricted. Every individual entry will be assigned a distinct number, and membership tickets will be distributed. Members can verify their assigned numbers at any time by reaching out to the Promoter.

4. Subscription Payments

Cost: Entry is priced at £5 per month per number, required in advance.

Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, recurring standing order, or digital membership subscription. All funds must be routed directly to Great Wakering Rovers FC.

Arrears: Entries will be excluded from the monthly draw if the required payment has not been received. Members bear sole responsibility for ensuring their accounts are up to date. The Promoter retains the right to reassign any draw numbers that fall into non-payment.

Refunds: Under no circumstances will paid subscriptions be refunded.

5. The Draw and Payouts

Frequency: One draw will take place every calendar month utilizing an automated random selection tool or an equivalent method approved by the Promoter.

Witnessing: Draws are open to all participants and must be witnessed by at least two members of the Club’s Management Committee. The specific time and location will be determined by the Promoter.

Distribution: Prize winnings will be distributed via bank transfer. Winning numbers will be published on the official Club website.

Identity: Prizes are strictly non-transferable and will only be issued to the registered purchaser of the winning number.

6. Cancellations and Variations

Member Cancellation: Participants may opt out of the Lottery at any time by providing one month's written notice to the Promoter.

Club Termination: Should the Club decide to discontinue the scheme, all participants will be given one month's notice.

Rule Amendments: Great Wakering Rovers FC retains the authority to modify these regulations at its discretion. Up-to-date rules and any subsequent updates will be posted on the Club website and physical notice boards.

7. Governance and Licensing

Disputes: Any disagreements will initially be resolved by the Promoter. Final appeals can be escalated to the Club Management Committee, whose ultimate ruling is binding.

Licensing: This scheme is established as a Small Society Lottery, fully registered and licensed with Rochford District Council under the regulations of the Gambling Act 2005.

Authorization: These regulations have been formally ratified by the Great Wakering Rovers FC Management Committee. Effective 1st July 2026, the registered Promoter is Matt Brian.
